Dr. McGovern will be co-director of the new Spine Center at Peninsula Regional Medical Center and will provide minimally invasive surgery, motion preservation and advanced nonoperative and pain management techniques for spinal disorders.
Dr. McGovern received his MD from the State University of New York Stony Brook School of Medicine, completed his residency in orthopedic surgery at Mayo Clinic and a fellowship in spine surgery and neurological spine surgery at the UCLA Comprehensive Spine Center.
