Safety Harbor City Commission Recognizes Dr. Allen Hayes

The Safety Harbor (Fla.) City Commission recently honored Allen Hayes, MD, an orthopedic surgeon and Vietnam War veteran, for his service to the country and fellow veterans, according to a Safety Harbor Patch report.

Dr. Hayes earned the Navy Cross, Silver Star, Bronze Star and three Purple Hearts during his service to the country, and currently serves on several state and national veteran group boards of directors. He has a special interest in sports medicine and has earned an Olympic gold medal in downhill skiing.
