Russel C. Huang, MD (Hospital for Special Surgery, New York City). Dr. Huang is the director of the Hospital for Special Surgery Spine Surgery Clinic and has a special interest in minimally invasive surgical procedures, intervertebral disc replacement, spinal fusion and cervical myelopathy. He also uses the eXtreme Lateral Interbody Fusion system ofr less invasive procedures.

 

Dr. Huang also serves as an assitant professor of orthopedic surgery at Weill Cornell Medical Center in New York City. He also participates in research and clinical trials related to spinal procedures.

 

Dr. Huang earned his medical degree at the Yale School of Medicine in New Haven, Conn., and completed his residency at Hospital for Special Surgery. His additional training includes a fellowship at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland.
