RSB Spine Sales Increase 38% for 2009

RSB Spine, a privately held medical device manufacturer, has an announced a 38 percent increase in sales for the year ended Dec. 31, 2009, versus year-end 2008, and a 42 percent sales increase for the fourth quarter of 2009 versus third-quarter 2009, according to a RSB Spine news release.

The company also announced the 1,000th implantation of its InterPlate product.

“We are obviously delighted with our strong sales performance both year over year and sequentially, which we attribute to be the direct result of the master distribution agreement signed with Paradigm BioDevices in October 2009. We are also very pleased to have achieved the significant milestone of having our products implanted in more than 1,000 patients with excellent results,” RSB Spine CEO John A. Redmond said in the release.
