Rothman Institute’s Dr. Peter DeLuca Performs Surgery on Nate Allen

Peter DeLuca, MD, an orthopedic surgeon at the Rothman Institute in Philadelphia, recently performed surgery on Philadelphia Eagles safety Nate Allen’s ruptured right patellar tendon, according to a Philadelphia Inquirer news report.

Dr. DeLuca is the team physician for the Eagles. Mr. Allen was injured this past Sunday and faces a six-month or more recovery. Dr. DeLuca is also the head team orthopedic surgeon for the Philadelphia Flyers.
