Here are four points:
1. The sports medicine center treats shoulder, elbow, hip, knee, ankle, hand and wrist injuries, as well as common exercise and sports related conditions.
2. Comprehensive concussion evaluation and management, physical exams, joint injections and aspirations, viscosupplementation injections, bracing and splinting and X-ray tests are offered within the division.
3. David Ross, MD, will head the primary care sports medicine division. He is fellowship trained in sports medicine from Pittsburgh-based University of Pennsylvania.
4. Dr. Ross plans to work closely with Ross Medical Group’s physical therapy division to ensure patients are offered treatment and prevention services for short term and chronic injuries and conditions
