The report includes responses from more than 1,200 medical groups where, combined, more than 55,000 physicians practice.
Key findings of the report include:
• Only 26.5 percent of respondents report being completely confident that their EHR vendor will be able to meet the Oct. 1, 2014 compliance date for ICD-10.
• Thirty-seven percent of respondents reported that their vendor will cover the cost to upgrade or replace their EHR.
• Forty-two percent of respondents reported that they do not have a scheduled date to begin ICD-10 testing with their EHR.
