2. Some of the projects the group presented included:
- The use of smartphones to record a dog’s performance and gaiting movement.
- Thermal imaging to detect inflammation in soft-tissue and compensatory muscular activity.
- Regenerative medicine treatments using platelet-rich plasma and stem-cell therapy in treating soft-tissue injuries.
- Nutritionally maintaining performance in older dogs to support their physical performance.
3. Journal of the American Veterinary Medical Association will publish the conference’s research in its January 2017 issue.
