His new responsibilities include overseeing the medical treatment, rehabilitation and pre-hab for Purdue’s varsity teams. He will also oversee sports performance, nutrition and sports psychology services.
Previously, Mr. Boersma was an athletic trainer and director of sports medicine at Bowling Green (Ohio) State, where he participated in the design and development of two sports medicine facilities.
