Pittsburgh Penguins player undergoes knee surgery

Pittsburgh Penguins center Brian Boyle had surgery at UPMC Presbyterian Shadyside in Pittsburgh, the team said May 16.

Dharmesh Vyas, MD, PhD, operated on Mr. Boyle’s left knee. The hockey player suffered the injury in a May 13 game against the New York Rangers.

Mr. Boyle’s recovery is expected to take six weeks.
