Chris Poulin, a nationally certified sports performance enhancement specialist, and Jennifer Poulin, a licensed physical therapist, will retain a minority interest in Sandhills Sports.
They plan to continue leading the outpatient practice locally and growing its brand in the North Carolina market.
Transitional Equity Consultants partners Stephanie Butler and H. Sonny Crumpler worked with the practice owners in the transaction. The consulting firm is focused on healthcare mergers and acquisitions.
“We were very impressed with how this deal was handled through a pandemic,” Mr. Poulin said in a prepared statement. “As practice owners, you do not have the time to do all that Sonny and Stephanie did for us.”
The name of the national therapy provider that purchased Sandhills Sports was not disclosed.
