The expansion is part of the hospital’s “new Tyrone Hospital” project designed to provide increased access to orthopedic patients. The hospital is attempting to become a regional center for orthopedics.
Bradley Barter, MD, was the first physician to launch the clinic a year ago. The physicians will see patients and perform surgery at the hospital. The clinic anticipates accommodating at least 35 patients per day. The hospital also provides inpatient and outpatient physical therapy, which may lead to a staff increase.
