Image-derived PSIs could help surgeons avoid the complication of glenoid component loosening that can occur with shoulder replacement procedures. Major market players still heavily underserve the procedure, though Zimmer, Biomet and DJO recently released PSIs. 

GlobalData, a research and consulting firm, expects the total shoulder replacement market to grow 9 percent to 2019.
