Here are three notes:
1. Dr. Anderson performed surgery to repair Mr. Olsen’s broken right foot in September. Following the surgery, Dr. Olsen was put on the injured reserve list.
2. On Nov. 26, Mr. Olsen was taken off the injured reserve list, but was unable to finish the game. He was sent to visit Dr. Anderson following the game.
3. Dr. Anderson is a foot specialist at OrthoCarolina in Charlotte, N.C. He is the past president of the American Orthopaedic Foot and Ankle Society and a founding member of the Foot and Ankle Institute at OrthoCarolina.
