Ottobock Healthcare to Move Distribution, Logistics to Kentucky

Duderstadt, Germany-based Ottobock Healthcare announced plans to move its distribution and logistics operations to Louisville, Ky., according to a Louisville Business First report.

The company is relocating its North American operations in Minnesota and Ontario, Canada, to the new Kentucky location, investing more than $3 million in the area, according to the report.

 

The move is expected to create up to 25 new jobs, and the company expects to triple its business, according to the report.

 

Ottobock manufactures prosthetics, braces, wheelchairs and other devices to aid mobility.
