The new Mini C-Arm with flat detector is part of the company’s HD Mini C-Arm. The addition of the flat detector allows greater image quality and lower dose with an enhanced form factor, according to the release. This is the first time flat detector technology, while available for several years, has been integrated with a Mini C-Arm.

“We continue to set new standards in Mini C-Arm imaging by offering the first Mini C-Arm equipped with a flat detector,” OrthoScan’s CEO Rob Morocco said in the release. “We are pleased to offer our customers the technological benefits inherent in flat detector design such as improved image quality and lower dose.”
