Orthopedic Surgeons Examine Philadelphia 76ers’ Andre Iguodala

Richard Ferkel, MD, of Southern California Orthopedic Institute, and Jack McPhilemy, MD, team physician for the Philadelphia 76ers, recently examined Sixers player Andre Iguodala after an Achilles tendon injury, according to a CSN Philly report.

After the examination, Mr. Iguodala was found to have bilateral Achilles tendonitis, and the physicians have recommended he sit out for the next five games in order to heal the injury. In the mean time, he will stay in shape by bike riding and lifting weights.
