Orthopedic surgeon Alan Nasar, MD, has been named director of orthopedics of Manor Health and Rehabilitation Center in Freehold, N.J., according to a report by APP.com.
Dr. Nasar earned his MD from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey, completed internships in general surgery and orthopedic surgery at the State University of New York – Stony Brook Hospital and a residency in reconstructive surgery at Desert Orthopaedic Center in Las Vegas.
He also holds a degree in mechanical engineering, with specialized training in biomechanics and biometrics.
