Orthopedic surgeon Dr. Breitbart joins Southeastern Health in North Carolina

Southeastern Health in Lumberton, N.C., welcomed Eric A. Breitbart, MD, to its orthopedic practice, according to The Robesonian.

Here are five things to know about Dr. Breitbart:

 

1. With the addition of Dr. Breitbart, a sports medicine orthopedic surgeon, Southeastern Health now offers pediatric and adult sports medicine.

 

2. He will head the Southeastern Health athletic training program.

 

3. Dr. Breitbart will be a member of the Campbell University’s Jerry M. Wallace School of Osteopathic Medicine faculty as an assistant professor.

 

4. A graduate of the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey in Newark, Dr. Breitbart went on to complete an orthopedic residency at Rutgers New Jersey Medical School in Newark.

 

5. He completed fellowship in sports medicine at the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia, during which he specialized in adult and pediatric sports medicine.
