Dr. Armstrong treats adult and pediatric patients and serves as the team physician for local high school teams. He was also the 1996 Olympic sports medicine coordinator for aquatic sports. In addition to his expertise in knee surgery, Dr. Armstrong regularly treats arthritis, performs shoulder surgery and treats trauma and fracture patients.
“Dr. Armstrong was wonderful when I broke my knee two years ago,” said one of Dr. Armstrong’s patients in a report from eHow. “He’s outstanding.”
In addition to his practice, Dr. Armstrong is a fellow with the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons. He is a member of the U.S. Olympic Sports Medicine Society, Georgia Medical Association and the Indiana University Alumni Association.
Dr. Armstrong earned his medical degree from Indiana University School of Medicine in Indianapolis. He completed his residency at the University of Kentucky in Lexington.
