A partner for the last 13 years at Spine Surgery Associates’ Erlanger Medical Mall office in Chattanooga, Dr. Bonvallet is a respected orthopedic surgeon who will continue the Center’s emphasis on conservative spine care. This means a primary focus on non-operative intervention and a willingness to refer patients who cannot be treated appropriately to a Spine Surgery Associates surgeon.
On his appointment, Dr. Bonvallet commented to The Chattanoogan, “The chance to play a significant role in the development and advancement of a comprehensive medical program is of particular interest to me. It is our goal to make sure patients at the Spine Center have the best experience and care possible.”
Dr. Bonvallet earned his MD from the University of California School of Medicine and completed his residency at USC Medical Center in Los Angeles, Calif. He also completed a fellowship at the University of Florida in Gainesville.
