Dr. Anderson has a professional interest performing all types of procedures, including arthroscopic shoulder and knee surgery and elbow surgery. He also serves as a team physician for several local high school teams, the U.S. Luge Team and the primary orthopedic consultant for the Cleveland State University teams.
During his career, Dr. Anderson has served as an instructor for the physical therapy department at the University of Wisconsin. He has also published research on several topics, including posterior shoulder instability and spinal cord injuries. He has published in several professional journals, including The American Journal of Sports Medicine and the Journal of Hand Surgery.
In addition to his practice, Dr. Anderson is a member of the American Association of Orthopadic Surgeons, American Orthopaedic Society of Sports Medicine and the Arthroscopy Association of North America. He has also served as the medical advisor for the Madison Marathon in Wisconsin.
Dr. Anderson earned his medical degree from the University of Iowa College of Medicine in Iowa City and completed his residency in orthopedic surgery at the university of Wisconsin Hospital and Clinic in Madison. His additional training includes a sports medicine fellowship at the Cleveland Clinic.
