Orthopaedic Trauma Association Names Dr. Robert Probe President for 2012

The Orthopaedic Trauma Association has announced new officers for its board of directors, including Robert A. Probe, as president, according to an AAOS Now report.

The new members also include Secretary Heather A. Vallier, MD, and member-at-large Douglas W. Lundy, MD.

Dr. Probe is the chair of the orthopedic surgery department and the director of the division of orthopedic trauma at Scott & White Healthcare in Temple, Texas. He earned his medical degree at Texas A&M University Health Science Center and completed his orthopedic traumatology fellowship at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston. He also completed a foot and ankle fellowship at UT Southwestern Medical School in Dallas and spent time studying in Italy and Austria.
