OrthoIndy Orthopedic Surgeon Joins Staff of St. Vincent Clay Hospital

Chris P. Bales, MD, an orthopedic surgeon at OrthoIndy, has joined the medical staff at 58-bed St. Vincent Clay Hospital in Brazil, Ind., according to a report by the Brazil Times.

Dr. Bales’ new duties are related to a new partnership between St. Vincent Health and OrthoIndy, under which St. Vincent assumes a minority interest in the physician-owned Indiana Orthopaedic Hospital.

Dr. Bales specializes in shoulders and sports medicine. He earned his MD from Indiana University School of Medicine, completed his residency at William Beaumont Hospital in Royal Oak, Mich., and his fellowship at Stanford University.
