Dr. Schiffern earned his medical degree at the University of Washington School of Medicine in Seattle. He completed his shoulder and elbow fellowship at W.B. Carrell Memorial Clinic in Dallas and completed his residency in orthopedic surgery at the University of Utah.
Prior to joining OrthoCarolina, Dr. Schiffern practiced at NorthEast Orthopedics in Concord, N.C.
