ONC Workgroup Endorses Reommendation of Delaying Stage 2 for Those Attesting in 2011

The workgroup that advises the Office of the National Coordinator for Health IT on meaningful use issues has recommended the federal agency delay implementation of stage 2 meaningful use by one year in order to lift the burden for eligible providers who attest in 2011, according to a Health Data Management news report.
