OIG Says Little Anti-Kickback Risk for Proposed Online Referral Network

An advisory opinion (pdf) by HHS’ Office of the Inspector General has concluded that there is minimal risk of an online referral service proposal violating the Anti-Kickback Statute.

The OIG opinion states that while the proposed arrangement could potentially generate prohibited remuneration under the Anti-Kickback Statute, the OIG would not impose administrative sanctions in connection with the proposed arrangement.
