NuVasive launches 1st integrated surgical automation platform for spine: 3 notes

NuVasive received FDA 510(k) clearance for its Pulse surgical automation platform.

Here are three things to know:

1. Pulse introduces 2D- and 3D-navigation and smart imaging capabilities. The platform integrates NuVasive’s neuromonitoring, surgical planning, radiation reduction and patient-specific rod bending technologies.

2. Case participants can view the platform’s imaging and insights in real time through Wi-Fi connectivity and independent device access.

3. Pulse integrates several high-resolution cameras with low-profile, 360-degree arrays to drive uninterrupted line-of-sight and optimized procedural workflow.
