Norwin School Board names Excela Health official provider of athletic training: 3 notes

The Norwin School Board in Pennsylvania has approved a contract with Excela Health Orthopedics and Sports Medicine in Greensburg, Pa., according to a Tribune-Review report.

Here are three notes:

 

1. Under the contract, Excela will provide athletic training services for five years to school sports teams.

 

2. Excela Health replaces University of Pittsburgh Medical Center as the provider of athletic training at Norwin’s schools.

 

3. In addition to athletic training, Excela offers a number of services, including musculoskeletal care, pain management and concussion care.
