North Shore-LIJ Medical Center Opens Pain Management Center

North Shore University Hospital collaborated with LIJ Medical Center to open the Procedural Pain Management Center, an outpatient facility in Lake Success that will treat adults with acute and chronic pain conditions, according to a news release.

The center will offer injection treatments such as epidural steroid injections, sacroiliac joint injections and nerve blocks. Physicians use x-ray guidance to pinpoint locations for injections. Physicians include Robert Duarte, MD, Shaheda Quarishi, MD, Joseph Rothenberg, MD, Edward Rubin, MD, Vikas Varma, MD, and Amir Annabi, MD.
