With the new surgery room, patients will be able to schedule their surgeries sooner, according to the hospital. The hospital’s post-anesthesia care unit was renovated and reconfigured to add the eighth operating room.
With the additional space, the hospital expects to accommodate an additional 1,600 cases per year. The new operating room includes upgraded nurse documentation stations and overhead monitors.
