New professional soccer team scores deal with 2 healthcare organizations

A new professional soccer team is coming to Jacksonville, Fla., and the Jacksonville Orthopedic Institute will serve as the sports medicine provider for them, the team announced today.

The Jacksonville Armada FC, set to kick off their inaugural season this April, is part of the North American Soccer League.

 

Baptist Health, a network of five hospitals throughout the northeast Florida and southeast Georgia region, will serve as the team’s healthcare provider.

 

The Jacksonville Orthopedic Institute is composed of 31 board-certified physicians, across six offices and nine rehabilitation facilities throughout the city of Jacksonville.
