Here are five highlights:
1. The project broke ground on July 10.
2. The NTCDC is expected to open in November 2017.
3. Included in the center will be the Children’s Mercy Sports Medicine and Rehabilitation Center.
4. The sports medicine center will house six exam rooms and a radiology center.
5. The center is one of the nation’s first to team up a professional sports team, a national sports federation and a sports medicine provider.
