Amin Kassam, MD, has been named director of the Neuroscience Institute at 236-bed Saint John’s Health Center in Santa Monica, Calif., according to a release from Saint John’s.
The new institute will build on the work over the last two years of Daniel F. Kelly, MD, medical director of Saint John’s Brain Tumor Center.
Dr. Kassam was chairman of the Minimally Invasive endoNeurosurgery Center at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center.
