Neuropsychologist Joins Ironman Sports Medicine Institute in Houston

Summer Ott, a neuropsychologist and an authority on sports concussions, joined Ironman Sports Medicine Institute at Memorial Hermann in Houston as it sports concussion program director.

Dr. Ott was one of the catalysts behind the Texas Senate Bill 2038 that established management and return-to-play guidelines for young athletes with concussions. She previously served as co-director of the Methodist Hospital Concussion Center and clinical director of CHRISTUS St. John Hospital Concussion Center.
