Nemours in Delaware Missing Backup Tapes With Data of 1.6M Patients, Employees

A Nemours facility in Delaware is missing backup tapes containing personal and financial information on 1.6 million patients and employees, according to a health system news release.

The information stored on the tapes dates from 1994-2004 and includes names, addresses, dates of birth, Social Security numbers, insurance information, medical treatment information and direct deposit bank account information.
