1. Dr. Andrews was recognized for his “unwavering leadership and support” for the athletic trainers association. Dr. Andrews supports the profession and believes trainers add substantial value to healthcare.
2. 3. Dr. Andrews founded the Andrews Institute for Orthopaedics & Sports Medicine in Gulf Breeze, Fla., in 2007. He is one of the leading orthopedic surgeons in the world, and his center is internationally recognized for its sports medicine treatments.
4. Dr. Andrews is also the Tampa Bay Rays’ orthopedic medical director.
