NATA Seeking Feedback on “Athletic Trainer” Name

The National Athletic Trainers’ Association is undergoing a nomenclature study to determine whether “athletic trainer” and “athletic training” are the best terms for the profession.

The association wants to know what medical professionals and consumers think about athletic trainers and are seeking survey participants through Dec. 7. The survey conducted by MBA students at the University of Dallas will help NATA determine in what areas greater awareness of athletic trainers is needed. Click here to take the survey.
