The first-of-its-kind multlidisciplinary sports medicine conference will include more than 40 speakers on various topics impacting sports medicine at all levels, including stem cell research, supplements, nutrition, steroid use and ACL surgery. The conference aims to connect orthopedic sports medicine surgeons with non-operative sports medicine specialists, primary care providers, athletic trainers and therapists.
Speakers will include Sue Falsone, the first female physical therapist in Major League Baseball, Kelsey Logan, MD, a concussion management expert and several team physicians for professional athletic clubs.
Robert J. Nicoletta, MD, course director and head of sports medicine at Cambridge Health Alliance, is the director of the conference.
