Missouri’s St. John’s Health System to Build $104M Orthopedic Hospital

Missouri’s St. John’s Health System has received state approval on plans to construct a $104 million orthopedic hospital on the northwest edge of Ozark, according to a News-Leader report.

Plans for the 48-bed hospital include inpatient and outpatient services for bone and joint problems as well as knee and hip replacements. According to St. John’s application to the Missouri Health Facilities Review Committee, the hospital may also deal with spine problems.

The hospital will be built on an 11-acre site and eventually employ 150 people.
