Mid-America Orthopaedic Association Names 7 New Board Members

The Mid-America Orthopaedic Association has named several new board members, according to an AAOS Now report.

The new board members include:

 

•    President: J. Lawrence Marsh, MD, interim head of orthopedic surgery at the University of Iowa Orthopaedics & Rehabilitation in Iowa City
•    First vice president: Marc F. Swiontkowski, MD, an orthopedic surgeon at TRIA Orthopaedic enter in Minneapolis
•    Second vice president: Robert T. Trousdale, MD, orthopedic surgeon at Mayo Clinic based in Rochester, Minn.
•    Treasurer: Matthew A. Mormino, MD, resident program director at the University of Nebraska Medical Center College of Medicine in Omaha
•    Member-at-large: Christopher C. Kaeding, MD, executive director of OSU Sports Medicine in Columbus, Ohio
•    Program committee chair: Brian R. Wolf, MD, an orthopedic surgeon at the University of Iowa Orthopaedics & Rehabilitation in Iowa City
•    Membership committee chair: Jeffrey E. Johnson, MD, an orthopedic surgeon at Washington University Physicians in St. Louis
