
Michael Hisey, MD (Texas Back Institute, Plano). Dr. Hisey has served as medical director of Texas Back Institute and medical executive committee member at Baylor Surgicare at Denton. He has also been the medical director of the SpineMark Clinical Research Organization at Texas Back Institute.
Dr. Hisey is also interested in research; he was a principal investigator in the Dynesys IDE Trial and Research Fund Management committee member for the North American Spine Society. He has also been the vice chairman of the governing board and chairman of the board of managers at Presbyterian Hospital of Flower Mound. Finally, Dr. Hisey served as principal investigator of the Flexicore Lumbar Artificial Disc IDE Trial and co-principal investigator of the Mobi-C Cervical Artificial Disc IDE Trial.
Dr. Hisey earned his medical degree from the University of California, San Diego and completed his training in orthopedic surgery at the Albert Einstein Medical Center in Philadelphia. His additional training includes a spine surgery fellowship at Texas Back Institute.
