Miami Valley Hospital South to Expand Orthopedic Department

Miami Valley Hospital South in Centerville, Ohio, is planning a $51 million expansion of its obstetrical care, medical surgical care and orthopedics department to be finished by 2012, according to a WHIO local news report.

The five-story addition will include two floors designated for orthopedics and medical surgical care. The expansion adds an additional 64 beds to the hospital’s orthopedic department.

Construction could begin in December if the city approves the measure.
