The $105 million project will include 43 beds and an entire staff dedicated to orthopedic patients. The hospital’s staff plans on having it ready for patients within two years. An increasing population of baby boomers needing orthopedic care was the impetus for constructing the new hospital, said Robert Wyrsch, MD, a hand specialist at St. John’s Orthopedics.
