Memorial Hospital Teams With Local High Schools to Save $30k on Athletic Trainers

Memorial Hospital of Union County has partnered with local high schools to provide athletic trainers, according to a Columbus Dispatch report.

Under the partnership, Memorial Hospital will provide full time athletic trainers and accompanying services. The hospital will also receive exclusive sports medicine marketing and sponsorship rights at the schools, according to the report. Hospital logos will appear on practice jerseys, camp T-shirts and event admission tickets.

The deal is estimated to save the school district $30,000 per year, which is the current payment for trainer services, and the hospital will be providing an estimated $95,000 to $100,000 worth of services per trainer, according to the report.
