The Ironman Sports Medicine Institute will allow Memorial Hermann to expand its current services to include cross-sport research that will improve athletic performance, injury recovery and injury prevention. Research protocols will examine endurance athletes to determine how their preparation and training regimens can benefit athletes in all sports.
There will also be newly bundled services added to the current performance testing at the hospital.
