Medtronic has launched its Kyphon Cement Delivery System, which adds a bone cement delivery option to its Kyphon Balloon Kyphoplasty products for treatment of vertebral compression fractures, according to a release from Medtronic.
The company said the Kyphon Cement Delivery System allows physicians to be farther from the radiation source during the cement delivery phase than with Medtronic’s current delivery system for the balloon kyphoplasty procedure.
