The rods of the Pass De-Rotation connector are pre-bent to the desired curve in the sagittal plane and the deformity is progressively reduced by alternately tightening all the nuts on both rods at the same time.

The Lyons, France-based company is now planning a clinical study in the United States to analyze 3D correction of adolescent idiopathic scoliosis by posterior instrumentation.
