Medicare Contractors to Again Hold Physician Fee Schedule Claims for 10 Days While Congress Works to Delay Cuts

The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services has once again asked contractors to hold claims for services under the physician fee schedule for the first 10 business days in June, while Congress struggles to delay a proposed 21.3 percent fee cut, according to a report in AHA News Now.

As of the writing of this article, Congress had not resolved to extend a delay in the cuts, scheduled to take effect on June 1, prior to its Memorial Day recess.
