Steven J. Tallarida is chairman of the board of directors at Arthrosurface and president, CEO and partner of STD Med. He also serves as president of Saphena Medical, a new company developing novel endoscopic vein harvesting technology. He has more than 27 years of experience in the medical products industry.

Mr. Tallarida has been instrumental in setting up numerous companies in the medical device arena. He is a founder of AngioLink Corporation, a medical device start-up focused on the interventional cardiology and wound management markets. The start-up was acquired by Medtronic. Additionally, Mr. Tallarida is a founder of Spirus Medical, which was acquired by Olympus in 2011.
